I am very lucky to live where I do – surrounded by hundreds of ancient and beautiful Cotswold villages nestled in a most beautiful area of England.

a truly wonderful friend of mine suggested that the last week in May was “the time to see Combe at its very best” and he should know, he lives there!

my meanderings through this beautiful, quintessentially English village found wonderful sights such as The Cock Inn on the village green and the lovely 12th Century church of St. Laurence, but it was the little details that really struck me. in a place so rich in history, there is always lots of wonderful photographic gems to be had – a water pump here, a red telephone box there.

suffice to say I thoroughly enjoyed my little “tour” and will definitely be going back for a reconnaissance mission! May 2012
